Paintball is most closely related to tag and dodge ball. Paintball games last 10-15 minutes and have set objectives ranging from capture the flag to elimination of the other team (like in dodge ball). In all paintball games, a player is eliminated when they are “marked” by a paintball.A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule with colored liquid inside it. Paintballs are similar to large round vitamin capsules or bath oil beads. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water.

Hollywood Sports Park Airsoft is a recreational activity in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched via replica firearms.

PaintballSOFT is very similar to Paintball, featuring ammunition less than half the size of a traditional paintball. PaintballSOFT equipment is lighter, and walk-on games are made up of mostly families and players new to the sport. PaintballSOFT is less Impact and less velocity then standard Paintball, and is best for beginners, first-timers and mixed groups.

All players must be ages 10 & up for any Paintball, paintballSOFT, or Airsoft activity. PaintballSOFT4Kids players must be ages 7 & up. Players for GellyAttack™ must be 5 years or older. No exceptions.

Hollywood Sports Park is House Paint Only. We do have Bring Your Own Paint Fridays, so call before to verify at 562-867-9600. 

Smoke Grenades, Noise Bang Grenades or any other pyrotechnic equipment and/or any other type of similar devices are not allowed under any circumstances. Players caught using any banned equipment and devices will be subject to removal and banishment to all our facilities.

Players are allowed to bring their paintball or airsoft marker, face protection, and clothing onto the playing grounds. No props, equipment, or pyrotechnics are allowed by any player, and violators will be asked to leave without warning,

For your safety and comfort during paintball and airsoft activities, please follow these guidelines:
Allowed Footwear:Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are mandatory.Boots or shoes with ankle support are preferred, but not required.
Prohibited Footwear:Crocs, slides, sandals, or any similar footwear are not permitted.
Clothing Suggestions:Long sleeve shirts or sweaters are recommended for added protection, though not mandatory.
Important Notes:We do not sell footwear on-site. If you are not wearing appropriate shoes, you will not be allowed on the field.
Walk-on packages do not include protective vests. However, vests are available for rent. Please inquire with a cashier at check-in if you'd like to rent one.

To receive a full refund for a cancelled reservation you must call to cancel at least 72 hours before the time of your reservation. If you would like to reschedule, you must notify the office thru phone at 562-867-9600 at least 24 hours before your scheduled event date. If you would like to reschedule for a future date but is unsure of the date, your payment is only good for 6 months. Failure to reschedule within the given 6-month period will result in forfeiture of your payment. 

All Paintball, Airsoft, and PaintballSOFT players must be at least 10 years of age to play. Ultimate Kids’ Party & PaintballSOFT4kids players must be at least 7 years old.

All reservations require a deposit to be no less than $50. Any Private Group Reservations require minimum $150 Deposit. 

Every player is required to completely fill out a waiver. Players that are under 18 years of age is required to have a parent or a legal guardian sign their waiver. Waiver is available through ‘Sign Waiver’ link at the top of this page. You are required to complete the waiver online before going to the park.

Our parks are FIELD PAINT ONLY and all paint must be purchased at the Pro Shop or Ticket Center. ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE PAINTBALLS ALLOWED.

 A current and valid California Driver's License is required to rent any equipment. A Rental Agreement Form will be required to be completely filled out on the day of the event. Only two rental equipment is allowed per Driver's License. You must be 18 years old and older to sign Rental Agreement. A replacement fee will be charged if any equipment rental is lost or unreturned. Replacement fees are listed on Equipment Rental Form.

Tickets for ‘Walk Ons’ means you will be playing with the general public. Private group options are available and requires an additional fee, please contact our office ahead of time at 562-867-9600. Pets are not allowed unless they are registered service animals. Hollywood Sports Park DOES NOT allow alcohol to be consumed or brought in the park. Hollywood Sports Park does not allow outside food to be brought in the facility starting May 1, 2021. No Barbecue Grills, cooking or electric food warmers are allowed at the facility.

The use of smoke grenades or anything that produces a spark or flames is prohibited. Anyone found using or in possession of these items will be asked to leave without a refund. Marker and mask should be the only personal items brought on field.
